Easy peasy. In fact, here are the instructions: Ink up
Sketchy Alphabet and stamp. Seriously folks (more or less).
STEP 1
Gathered my supplies - the
Sketchy Alphabet set, Versarmark, white embossing powder and a cardbase.
STEP 2
Removed the "H" and "I" and inked the other letters as they are on the acetate with Versamark. Flipped the acetate over onto my card and pressed down using a large acrylic block to get even pressure.
STEP 3
See that magic happening? Seriously, heat embossing never fails to amaze me.
STEP 4
I always stamp my sets once on the back of the cover sheet when I get them (so I can be sure I haven't lost any and also so I have a guide for where to put them back onto the acetate sheet so that they all fit!). So I placed the "H" and "I" back where they originally were to get the same spacing and picked them up with a small acrylic block. TIP: Rather than using black embossing powder, stamp with black Versafine and emboss with clear powder to avoid getting stray black particles on your white card.
STEP 5
Hmm...how to color the "HI"? Colored pencils, markers, more embossing? I decided on a psychedelic look with Abandoned Coral, Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers used as watercolors on my acrylic block.
A sentiment from
Bloom Sketches heat embossed onto black CS finished off my card.
OK, if that wasn't easy peasy enough for you, how about this one?
Apply ink to stamp set; stamp; punch a hole in circle snippet and adhere. How about a set of these, each with a different colored circle? Say it with me... easy peasy.
