{Spotlight Project} Masterboard Cards With Shirley
I started off by blending two colours of Distress Oxides over my card, then stencilling over with the same colours to give a ghost image using Bloomdala Bliss #11.
I added some text using the script stamp from Mixed Media Elements in a darker shade.
Then I cut it into four panels to make cards with.
For this first one I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the large birthday cake, and added a Skinny Sentiment.
The Cup Of Roses in yellow makes a lovely contrast to the purple hues. Notice the delicate doily underneath the cup? That's Bloomdala Bliss - Felicity.
I jazzed up a little birdie from For The Birds and sat her on a Skinny Sentiment nest with a lining of Trendy Spring Bloom leaves.
For this final card I stamped and coloured the lilies from Smile, and fussy-cut them out, leaving the smallest white border.
Masterboard panels are great for having in your stash as ready-made backgrounds - simply pull one out, add a focal image or diecut, and you've got a quick card.
