{Stencil Sunday} Stencils, Gilding Flakes, and Distress Oxide Sprays
Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! It's time for another Stencil Sunday post. We have talented guest designers sharing their creations that feature ARTplorations stencils. Make sure you comment on this post for a chance at a $15 prize code. Every month, we draw 7 winners, with the winners randomly drawn from all posts published during the month. The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have.
In today's post, guest designer Olivia Rivera-Marmara, shares projects she created with stencils, gilding flakes, and distress oxide sprays.
Hello, everyone. It is my final guest DT post for Stencil Sundays. I have had a wonderful time and thank you all your kind comments. For the mixed media style cards I am sharing today, I worked with Distress Sprays and Gilding Flakes. The initial backgrounds were created using my Distress Oxide Inks on my Gel Plate.
In the first card I used the Burst. I used a pink and blue color Oxide Spray over the background. After that, I splatter with some white paint and then use die cuts for the center. To see how the process came together, my latest video is here https://youtu.be/zVLPHqj86wI

Next up, I decided to finally put some of that messy beautiful gilding flakes I have to use. The next two cards used two different stencils with the gilding flakes. For this technique I used my DecoFoil Transfer Duo that can be used without heat. This first card I inked the stencil, Onion in Raws, first with Distress Ink. I then off centered the stencil so that the gilding flakes design with show as well as the distress inks.

For my final card, I used the stencil, Weaving, to be an accent point. I then stamped the card with the Mixed Media Elements stamp and used one of the sentiments in the Inspirational #1 clear sticker pack.
If you want to see how I created these cards, I also have my video of the process here at https://youtu.be/XCTYf5mnS3Q.
I hope you guys enjoyed my recent projects. It has been a blast to create for you.
