CASEplorations September - reminder

Hi friends! I know it's been pretty busy around here, but I wanted to stop in to remind you about this month's CASEplorations challenge. We've been CASEing this fantastic card from Ksenija (Sweet Kobylkin) and if you're thinking of joining the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop starting on the 23rd, maybe this will give your mojo a jump start!

CASE Ksenija's card and hook up to the gallery. We'll vote for a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate to the STAMPlorations store OR a 3x5 stamp set. And two runners up will receive a $5 gift certificate.

CASEplorations September

Ready or not, here it comes. Fall. Around here at least. And what better way to welcome Fall than with... coffee. Right? So without further ado, may I present this month's cozy and colorful card from our own Ksenija Rizova of Sweet Kobylkin fame. If you hang out here you definitely know Ksenija's nail-it-on-the-head CAS creations - you'll find them at AAA Cards and Addicted to CAS where she is a design team member as well. If you check out her blog you can find more extravagant beauties like this one too. Or if you're looking for CAS Christmas inspiration, check out her Advent Calendar tag series - I discovered her work by falling in love with this tag last year.

So ready for our card to CASE this month? This was Ksenija's entry for the 2016 Summer Coffee Lovers blog hop. You can find out more about it here. And BTW, the Fall Coffee Lovers blog hop is quickly approaching. Mark your calendars for September 23rd.

Look at those design elements - cascading images, banner, warm colors, kraft, heat embossing, watercoloring, splattering. SO much happiness in a cup on a card! What would you choose to CASE?

• Pick any card (or two, or however many) from the Inspiration Project posts that we'll be publishing throughout the month of September (September 11, 14, 25, 28, and 30) that you want to CASE. You can create any type of project -- card, ATC, altered project, mixed media, art journal page, scrapbook page, etc.
• You can use any supplies you have. You don't have to use STAMPlorations products; products by other companies are welcome -- but please don't link up projects that you create solely to promote another stamp company.
• In your blog post, include the card you're CASEing as well as describe how you were inspired by it. Link back to the Inspiration Project post too.
• Don't forget to link up your CASE project(s) to the Inspiration CASE Playground!
• CASE as many cards as you want, so long as you have them in separate posts on your blog.
• We'll randomly draw one entry to win a $15 gift certificate to the shop or choice of 2 ARTplorations stencils. We'll also be highlighting the best CASEs.

Ready for cards you can CASE? Here ya go! We are excited to see your CASEs in the Playground!

CASEplorations September

Can you believe it's September? Happy back-to-school and happy new installment of CASEplorations! You know the routine. We pick a knock-out card from the blogosphere for your and our CASEing pleasure.

This month we have a designer for you who is a frequent player in our STAMPlorations world of challenges and a card creator whose blog name describes her better than I ever could. But first, meet Penny the Pig.

This makes-me-oh-so-happy creation comes to you from Gail Tasker. Surely you know Gail. OK, how about ionabunny, of The Crafty Nomad? Yep, that's her. And I love what she did with that sweet piggy. And if you check out her blog, you will always be amazed at her creative process and crafting ingenuity. (When's the last time you heat embossed with an iron???) Please be sure to leave her some love.

Gail told me this when talking about CASEing her original tag. "I love my Penny the Pig tag and getting past that design has been much more of a challenge than I thought." Been there, done that. You too? Well "get past it" she did. Please meet her new creations...
