{Special Post} STAMPlorations Celebrates with Time Out Challenges + Extra Prizes

Hello, STAMPlorations friends! There's a new challenge up at Time Out Challenges that STAMPlorations is sponsoring. It's an extra special challenge because Time Out is celebrating its 5th birthday! TO boss Sandie does a phenomenally awesome job -- so even if you don't get to play, I hope you'll pop by on the blog to give her a big shout out :o)

$50 gift voucher to the STAMPlorations store awaits the lucky winner. And just for our regular readers and followers, I have THREE (3) extra prizes for those of you who play in the challenge and comment on this post so make sure you scroll down to the end for the complete details :o)

For the next  couple of weeks, it's an Inspired by Words challenge. Pretty simple: create a project based on this line: Hugs, kisses and a lot of birthday wishes.

{Special Post} STAMPlorations at Time Out Challenges

Hello, STAMPlorations friends! There's a new challenge up at Time Out Challenges that STAMPlorations is sponsoring. It's an Inspired by Words challenge:

You can use one or some of the words as the basis for your project. Taking a break from making Christmas cards, I decided to go with a birthday card.

As I was getting ready to start making my card, I remembered a painting technique called "negative painting" -- an alternative painting approach wherein you paint around the object/subject instead of painting the object/subject itself. So I thought about using that technique on my card. I took some liberties with the technique and translated it to stamping -- specifically to my style of stamping.
