Hi my dear crafty friends!!! I am a BIG fan of artsy journals. Today I want to share a little scrap journal. I designed the shapes with the Silhouette Studio. But it will be easy to cut something similar without an E-Cutter.

Hey everyone! Have you played in the December Challenge yet? Create a project based on the theme, sketch, or both, and link it up!
For December, our theme is STAMPS & COLLAGE. By definition, a collage is "a piece of art made by sticking various different materials such as photographs and pieces of paper or fabric onto a backing." For the purposes of this month's challenge, a collage can be using a combination of different things -- different types of inks, stamp sets, papers, materials, etc. If you end up with a collage card that is also clean and simple, make sure to link it up to the December CAS Card Challenge.If your card has diecuts, has a STAMPlorations product, and was inspired by the photo here, link it up in the November CUTplorations Challenge gallery. If you end up creating a non-card mixed media project and you used a stencil, link it up to our December Mixed Media Challenge. And lastly, if your card has STAMPlorations products (stamps, stencils, and/or dies) as the main attraction, link it up to our Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge. Hello Crafty Friends. It's Monika here with an accidental card to share. Initially I intended to do something with stencils and watercolouring, but it wasn't to be. This card popped out instead.
I was still playing with watercolour and water. When the stenciling didn't work the way I thought it would, I simply added more water and colour and my background was born.
Next, I white embossed my sentiment, added a die-cut heart and layered on my linen effect base card.
I also have a little slide show video featuring the card below, demonstrating my process.
It uses ink refills instead of watercolour.
Here is a look at both my finished cards together.
It is a really easy technique to try.
