{Spotlight Project} Border Stamping with Cornelia

Hi, Cornelia here today, making a quick border Christmas card. Have you procrastinated making Christmas cards and now you are getting worried, 'cause its already the middle of October????? If so, I might be able to ease those worries.....

Lets get started:

CUTplorations-TBK-ChristmasReindeer-preview

Take any Christmas stamp you have at hand and stamp a border around your card, after you prepped your card stock with an embossing powder tool.

Heat emboss your images and add the sentiment.

Add embellishments.

Still not happy  - add another stamp - I used the snowflake stamp from the same set.

Thinking heat embossing is too much work???? Reverse the color scheme and do black on white.

Here you have it - two cards in  a few minutes. You could even use your Misti, if you have one and further shorten those steps.

Remember if you try out any of the techniques from our Spotlight posts and hook your project up at our Spotlight Project Showcase  you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate (random drawing) OR your choice of 5x7 stamp set + a Spotlight Project guest designer spot (randomly drawn from the Top 3 picks).

See you back next month!
 Happy Border Stamping!
