Hello! It's Lisa here with you today, and I have a very fun and artsy set of bookmarks to share with all of you. I love the Life in Full Color stamp set as it contains some very unique and inspiring sentiments. Since my family is full of readers we are always in need of bookmarks (those darn things always get themselves lost lol), and I love that I am able to create my own...
To recreate these bookmarks for your own collection is rather easy.
First, I cut the shape of my tags from watercolor cardstock, and I used a Hybrid Ink pad since I would be getting my stamped images wet.
Next came the fun and somewhat messy part lol. I used a fun mix of Ink Sprays onto a piece of plastic and carefully smooshed them onto my stamped bookmarks. Make sure you let each layer of colors dry before adding the next set of colors so you don't end up with a group of brown bookmarks.
I also had fun by adding some foiling to each bookmark. This is easy to do as well, and no special tools are needed other than a glue pen and foil. I simply added the glue where I wanted to add foiling, allowed it to sit for a minute or until it was clear and pressed the foil over it with my finger.
I hope I've inspired you to create your own colorful bookmarks! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!
