{Stencil Sunday} Four Fab Stencil Projects by Tanja

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We're continuing with the Stencil Sunday reboot that we started last month! On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month, the STAMPgirls will be sharing their projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. If you missed last week's post, it's here.

Today STAMPgirl Tanja shares 4 fabulously creative projects: a tag, a canvas, and two cards. We'll be picking one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts this month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

Here's Tanja with her projects:

Hi there, it's Tanja here and today I have the huge honor to present four projects using some of the fabulous ARTplorations stencils in this Stencil Sunday feature.

My first project is this Coffee Tag and I used the following STAMPlorations products: Dots 'n' Beans stencil, Framed Coffee Bags and A Donut, What's Brewing, and Stitched Tags Nesting Dies/

I stamped the image with Versafine Vintage Sepia and colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The background on the stitched tag was created by applying Distress Oxide Ink Ground Espresso through the Dots 'n' Beans stencil with a Mini Ink Blending Tool. This stencil is the perfect match for every coffee-themed project.

My second project is this Mixed Media Canvas and I used the following STAMPlorations products: Peeking Dahlias stencil, Mixed Media Grunge, and Say It Big: Collect Moments.

I love how the Distress Paint flows around the Modeling Paste Dahlia. Such a beautiful stencil. I am sure it would look fantastic as the focal point on a card too.

My third project uses a summer color combination and I used the following STAMPlorations products: A Whale's Tale stencil, Relax word die, and Beach Therapy (retired, but will soon be available as a digital stamp.)

I created a faux-watercolor effect by misting the stenciled background with water and added more interest to the sentiment by using the negative die cut from kraft cardstock.

For my fourth and final project, I used one of the beautiful new Faces stencils - Faces: Pensive stencil, Noteworthy 2, and Trendy Spring Blooms dies.

I just love the look of the face against that dreamy liquid watercolor background.

I hope you got inspired.

Hugs,

Did you enjoy today's featured post? Come back next because STAMPgirl Chris will be back to share two more projects.
