Hello there STAMP friends! I've another Spotlight post for you today. It's an easy way to stretch your stash and add a subtle touch to your CAS card backgrounds. Nothing new here, just a reminder to use dry embossing in your creative process and today I've used dies for this. (And a soon to be released coffee stamp set ;)
STEP 2
STEP 3
Stamped, colored, die cut and matted the focal image of two happy mugs.
STEP 4
The second photo shows the sandwich I use in my Big Shot - platform, thin die adapter, embossing mat, cardstock, die, cutting plate.
TIP!: Since you must run the cardstock through the machine multiple times to dry emboss the word die randomly on the front, start in the middle and work your way up and then reverse and work your way down. That way you can avoid flattening the already-embossed areas.
I created a second card with the same technique and a stand alone butterfly die.
Have never tried this - what a great idea!
