The Technique

Starting with fluid, transparent washes and building up to opaque acrylics creates a depth that really makes your focal point pop. ✨

How to Get the Look

1️⃣ Ink Wash Base: Start with calligraphy inks used as a loose wash (similar to watercolor) to establish your primary colors. ✒️ 

 

2️⃣ Block in Shapes: Use acrylic paints to add bold blocks and shapes over the dried ink. 🖌️ 

 

3️⃣ Detail & Splatter: Paint organic marks and add acrylic paint splatters to create movement and texture. 💧 

 

4️⃣ Define with Ink: Use black acrylic ink to define the four main shapes, giving the background structure and contrast. 📏
