{Stencil Sunday} Andrea Gets Inky with the Circles Flexi-Template and Stencils

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We are back with another Stencil Sunday post this month. For the next three months, we have two incredibly talented guest designers sharing their creations that feature ARTplorations stencils. Make sure you comment on this post for a chance at a $15 prize code. Every month, we draw 7 winners, with the winners randomly drawn from all posts published during the month. The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have.

In today's post, we have the talented Andrea Shell sharing 3 beautifully stenciled cards. Her technique in using one of the flexi-templates is flawless!

Here's Andrea with her cards:

Hello there!  It's Andrea with you, and I'm delighted to be sharing inspiration for the Stencil Sunday feature over the next few months. Stencils are one of my favorite crafty tools as their design possibilities are endless! I was super excited when I saw the Flexi-Template Stencils in the shop and couldn't wait to play with them. I have three cards featuring the Circles Flexi-Template to share, so grab a cuppa and let's get inky!

Card 1
Circles Flexi-Template Stencil
All Blooms Stencil
Birthday Bash stamp

I placed the All Blooms Stencil over a panel of white cardstock and secured a couple of the larger Circles Flexi-Template Stencils on top. I blended the panel with distress inks in the colors Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, Wilted Violet, and Speckled Egg. Once the ink was dry, I heat-embossed a sentiment from Birthday Bash in the center.

I trimmed down the stenciled panel, matted it with gold foil cardstock, and adhered it with foam tape to a white card.  For a bit of bling, I affixed some gold sequins. A simple, but elegant card!

I really love the All Blooms Stencil, so I just had to use it again! After placing the stencil over white cardstock, I layered the smaller, inner circles from the Circles Flexi-Template Stencils on top. I blended with the same distress ink colors as the first card. I removed and cleaned the stencils and then placed All Blooms back on top of the panel, aligning the design. Next, I placed the smallest circle and two larger rings on top, leaving a gap, and lightly blended with Worn Lipstick.

I removed the stencils a second time and placed a few of the outer rings from the Circles Flexi-Template Stencil onto my panel. After blending with Wild Honey, I gold heat-embossed a sentiment from Birthday Bash. I trimmed down the panel and matted it with yellow, metallic paper. I popped up the piece with foam tape and finished the card with a scattering of dew drops.

Card 3

I had to force myself to put aside the All Blooms Stencil for this last card. Luckily for me, STAMPlorations has so many awesome stencils that it wasn't too much of a chore. With the inner circle and smaller rings of the Circles Flexi-Template covering a panel of white cardstock, I placed the All Swirls Stencil on top. I blended with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, removed the stencil, and lightly blended with the same ink again. After removing the All Swirls Stencil and the two smaller rings, I placed the outer rings onto my panel. I first blended with Wilted Violet Distress Ink and then placed the Dots All Over Stencil over the panel and spread Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel.

Using the no-line technique, I Copic-colored one of the cupcakes from Birthday Bash and fussy-cut it. I adhered my stenciled panel to a white card and attached the cupcake with dimensional adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Best Mom Ever onto a white banner and affixed it to my card with foam tape. Finally, I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the cupcake.

Have a wonderful week! I'll see you next month for another Stencil Sunday feature.
