Hi, everyone Cornelia here today doing some ironing... .....housework (???) - no way .....stamp ironing, of course!
Lets get started:
Positioned the stamps on my Misti
and heat embossed in clear - you may see the brown smudge on the Authentic - I burned the paper, darn, that has not happend in years.... but no need to worry.
Did some water coloring and after it had dried I ironed off the clear embossing. Put some kitchen towel in between the card and the iron, of course.
Stamped over with the calla lily in Versamark and embossed in gold.
Needed more stuff, so I took the lily of the valley stamp from the same set and stamped in black
Still not happy. Added some color to the Lily of the Valley - same shade of blue, but darker and some white to the blossoms and some yellow to the Calla Lilies.
Finally satisfied. By the way - the brown burn mark - just went over it with my white pen and its gone.....
Added the sentiment on foam tape, a thin strip of wood paper on the left of the card and rounded the right bottom corner.

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this card Cornelia!! The blues are just fantastic!! You depicted the flowers in a very unique way by making them not stand out so much. Monochromatic coloring, stamping, and a bit of white is all it needed! Your sentiments are my fav! They weave in and out of the design. Genius, friend!! I love this card.. Seriously awesome work.
