{Spotlight Project} Monika Stamps A Quirky Angel

Hello Crafty Friends! For today's project I stamped an angel with a not so angelic cheeky grin. I dug out one of the past Stamp Club sets called Artsy Tribal Doodles and combined it with a sentiment and small heart from Becca's Funny Kinda Love set.

You know, sometimes you pick up a stamp set you haven't used in a while, and, all over sudden, you start seeing something in it you never saw before. This is exactly what happened to me today.

First I roughly laid out the stamps on my white base card to decide on the positioning.

Next I stamped the large triangle and the medium circle.

I then used the small triangle for the wings, with a little bit of masking of course.

I then added a splash of colour using the stitched triangle and the small heart with a little watercolouring.

To finish, I stamped my sentiment, added doodles, a strip of Washi and a tiny heart for a bit of shimmer.

Of course this little angel would make great Christmas cards too. Just saying, in case you wanted to start early.

That's it from me for today. Hope you enjoy the broad grin. If you fancy a bit of angel stamping or make a project using any of the techniques shared by my teamies in their Spotlight Posts, make sure to link up your makes with our Spotlight Project Gallery here.

Have a lovely day!
hugs
