{Spotlight Project} Quick New Year Cards with Deepti!

Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. A very Happy New Year to you. I am not sure about you guys but I always tend to run out of cards for Christmas, even though I make cards all year long Hahaha! So, to cover up for that I end up sending New Year cards to my family and friends LOL. So I made some super quick and easy cards. Let me show you what I made.
Here are the cards...

STEP 1
For the first step I picked up a patterned paper (DCWV - Black Kraft & Gold) and some of the dies that would work great for new year card, like the star balloon, gift boxes and bauble. Thank God! for the gorgeous patterned papers and lovely dies out there, they are a saving grace :D I then die cut there shapes

STEP 2
In my next step, I die cut the numbers using the number plate die. I also saved the other die cut numbers for future use in my other projects.

STEP 3
I cut out some french grey card stock panels and splattered them with gold watercolor.

STEP 4
In my final step, I simply put these all together, stamped the Happy and added some gold twine. The die cut pieces are replacing "0" from 2018

Here are close-ups of the cards :)

I have used Christmas Baubles #2 Layering dies, Gift Builder #1, Gift Builder #2, Shaker Balloon #2 Star and Numbers Plate Die. Also I used Balloon and Banners (for sentiment)

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try.

Happy paper crafting!
