{Spotlight Project} Guest Designer Kim Makes A Couple More Christmas Thank You Cards

Hey, everyone! So happy to be here again sharing another Spotlight Project with you all. I have two more Christmas thank you cards to share. This time I'm playing with the Christmas bells stamp. I have had this set for a while but hadn't inked up the bells until now. I wanted to show you how just by changing the colour scheme you can make two cards with the exact same design look so different.

{Spotlight Project} Writing Home for Christmas...

Hi, everybody! Today I completely left my comfort zone. I had this idea swirling 'round in my head and it didn't want to go away. All I could think of was 'writing home for Christmas', I guess, I just had to get on with it :-) The outcome is this vintage-inspired collage type card:

I used the following sets: Joyful, VIGNETTE: Christmas Block, Oh, Christmas Tree!, and VIGNETTE: Old Type. The sentiments of the Joyful set with their old typewriter style font gave me the idea.

{Spotlight Project} Deepti Gets Creative With Stamps And Creates Christmas Wreaths!

Hello, friends! Deepti here and I welcome you to my third spotlight project. I am feeling excited :) I hope I can inspire you yet again. This time I am showcasing how to make the best out of your stamps. I have used STAMPlorations' awesome new release, Vignette: Christmas Block set, and Vignette: Retro Mod Shapes.

So, here's a look at the finished project. Actually, I made two cards. One showcases the result with heat embossing and another with simple stamping. I created Christmas wreaths! I have made a tutorial for the first card.

{Spotlight Project} Shirley Creates A No-Bleach Watermark Background

Hi guys! Remember in the bad old days when we had to use real bleach if we wanted a bleached-out look to our backgrounds? We can now do a no-risk, no-smell, no-spoiled-clothes version just using water and Distress Inks.

{Spotlight Project} Vicki Creates A Christmas Card That's Easy to Mass-Produce!

Can you believe that Christmas is only 121 days away? Get out, right? Therefore, for today's spotlight, I am focusing on a Christmas card that can be mass-produced rather quickly. Here is the finished card:

Start by cutting 2 panels: one in colored card stock and one in white card stock.

Using Versamark ink and VIGNETTE: Christmas Block Stamp set, stamp the snowflakes onto the white card stock and emboss with white embossing powder.

Using distress inks and a blender, sponge on color over the stamped snowflakes. The more you sponge, the more intense the color will be.

Stamp the main sentiment on a scrap piece of card stock with Versamark, emboss with white embossing, and cut out the square. Sponge this and cut out a framing panel.

Adhere all to your card base and add some fussy cut bells. You now have the first card done. While the first one might have taken some time [reading directions and all], can you see how easy it would be to mass-produce? Gotta love that!

Now for the fun information; STAMPlorations is running a "bundle price" on the pre-released Christmas sets - all 5 sets are only $25.00 (29% off) through September 5th! If you are a Stamp Club subscriber [read about that HERE], you get an additional 15% off! Can you say awesome?

See you in a couple of weeks!
