{Spotlight Project} Monika Labels Tea Jars

Hi STAMPlorations Friends! Today I have something different for you which can quite easily be adapted for cards or tags too of course. My loose tea jars needed labels, here they are:

The sides of the jars were to shallow to fit a decently sized label and I decided to add them to the top. Not wanting to go with a round design I cut the label shapes from the Succulently Coordinating Dies and the tea pot from the Tag O'Coffee set to start.

The larger Kraft label was going to be my base, the white one was to become my patterned background and the tea pots were red for 'normal' tea and green for decaffeinated.

The smaller white labels were coloured with Scattered Straw DI before I added some background stamping using stamps from Art Marks 2 and Fossilized Amber DO.

I then added some leaves from the Leafy set and the Chillax sentiment from Beach Vibes in Crackling Campfire and Rustic Wilderness before layering my labels.

Next I added some faux stitching, the tea pots and my computer printed tea labels. The tea pots looked like they could do with a little heart, so this was added too and finished off with a little flower.

When it came to layering my labels on the jar lids, I felt that I wanted to add a little doily behind them. One of the Bloomdala Bliss Felicity dies worked rather well as a little extra touch.

Glue dots were used to attach my labels to the lids of my tea jars.

I call this a good way of stretching my stash. Of course as mentioned earlier, the labels could be adapted to become gift tags or card toppers.

These are the products I used from the STAMPlorations Shop to make my cards.

That's it from me for today. Wishing you a lovely week.
hugs
Monika ❤

{Preview} 4x6 Stamps - Spring 2021

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! Spring is right around the corner. We have quite a number of new products coming (or have been added) to the store but here's a preview of the 4x6 stamp sets we're releasing this spring.

You've already previewed the first 3 sets: Super Hero, Life Is Sweeter, and Art Marks 3 -- and they are available to pre-order at 50% off until March 5 and then they'll be officially released on March 8.

A Cupful of Blooms and Christmas Joy are stamp sets I designed for two kits we're soon releasing: the Coffee Spring|Summer Kit and the Christmas in the Air Kit. Both kits will also include our new product lines: Colorables and Ephemera, as well as clear stickers, and stencils.

Beautiful Courage and Fierce and Brave are stamp sets from Becca Cruger and me that we're releasing on March 15th in celebration of Women's History Month and International Women's Day (March 8). These stamps will be available to pre-order on March 5 and will ship starting March 15 (or sooner).

Stay tuned for previews of our upcoming limited edition kits, as well as new products in the Colorables, Ephemera, and Quick Card Fronts lines! We're also releasing a few more stamp sets in the next 3 months.

March Stencil Challenge

Hello, stencil fans! We are so happy you are here today to join us for the kick-off of the STAMPloratios March stencil challenge. We took a brief winter holiday and are now excited to share new stencil projects and see what you are creating with your stencils. If you play along with our challenge, don't forget to check in on the 10th of April to see if you are the winner of the $20 prize code to the STAMPlorations store or one of three randomly drawn crafters to win a $7 prize code.

But now on to our current challenge. We love to see your beautiful projects but to keep it fair and fun for everyone we have a few simple rules which you can also find at the end of this post. In addition to using a stencil on your project, we ask that you link up no more than three (3) projects per challenge. As always, our stencil challenge is anything goes as long as you use a stencil somewhere in your project. Also, remember that your project should be shown in its full glory on your blog post or Instagram, sneak peeks are not eligible to take part. Please don't forget to link back to this blog post via text link, and to include the challenge graphic to be eligible for the prizes. And above all, we hope that you have a lot of fun when you get creative with your stencils!

If you play, make sure you include the graphic below in your post and link back (via text link) to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.

March CAS Challenge

Hi CAS crafters! Welcome to the March 2021 edition of the STAMPlorations CAS challenge. I hope you didn't miss us too much while we took a short winter break to re-charge our crafty mojo. Even CAS crafters need a break from time to time :) But now we are back, full of ideas and hope you will join us in the fun. Don't forget that every month one of the DT members picks their favourite to win a $20 prize code to the STAMPlorations store and three randomly drawn crafters receive a $7 prize code. If you play along, check back on April 10th when we announce the winners.

We have a few simple rules and we ask that you follow them so that playing along will be fun and fair to everyone. All the rules are summarised at the end of this post. Your challenge is to create a clean and simple (CAS) card with or without the optional color twist which this month is spring inspired dark green and mint green. You may enter up to 3 CAS cards. Remember to link to this blog post (via text link) and display the challenge graphic to be eligible for the prizes. You can use any craft products you want, but if you have STAMPlorations stash, we would love to see what you create with it. And of course the most important rule - have fun and be creative!

If you play, make sure you include the graphic below in your post and link back (via text link) to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.
