Hi STAMPlorations Friends! Today I'm revisiting the 'Impossible Card' for a little Christmas scene which can either be used as a card to send, given that it folds flat, or be used as a piece of hand made Christmas decoration. Here it is ...
I then cut another line from roughly the center of my scored line towards he other edge and rubbed out my pencil lines.
The card then folded up as shown below ...
... and the right hand side was folded under to flip it around.
I rounded the corners, stamped and heat embossed my base card before attaching two strips of acetate across the underside of the 'open' spaces. This can be clearly seen a couple of photos further down.
I then stamped, embossed, watercoloured, fuzzy cut my images and die-cut the tree and sentiment multiple times for layering. After layering my die-cut shapes I clustered all my elements and attached them to the upstanding tab using 3D foam pads for spacing.
Here you can see where the strips of acetate were attached. I added a little stand to the back of my clustered elements for more stability.
TIP!: If you want to add more dimension than I have in my card, check out my first 'Impossible Card' tutorial here where I used a pop up feature for more depth. You can always adjust the basecard measurements or use a different sentiment.
These are the products I used from the STAMPlorations Shop to make my card.
hugs
Monika ❤
