{Spotlight Project} Vicki Goes Reflective

I made a card here awhile back. I had more then one person ask me how I did it. Well, I am here to show you today how to make a reflective image. It's so easy you'll think, Duh!

Here is the finished card:

I used the newly released STAMPlorations set, Bold Sentiments: Hashtag Authentic. [I am loving this set for sure!]

Okay, to create the reflective look, here are the steps:

STEP 1
Stamp the sentiment in blue; stamp the "you are" also in black.

STEP 2
Flip the panel for close line up and stamp again, in gray.

STEP 3
Mask off the blue word, and sponge on light blue.

STEP 4
Using a self made stencil, sponge yellow and a darker yellow at the bottom for depth.

You now have a reflective card.

This is really fun when you use a city skyline [like the linked sample]. However, I really like the word usage too~

See you in a couple of weeks~

Stamps Vicki used in today's project:

Bold Sentiments: Hashtag Authentic is one of 6 stamp sets released in January 2015. And did you know that you can substitute this stamp set plus a couple more (you get to choose the stamps!) and have them sent to you as part of your STAMPlorations stamp club membership?
