STAMPlorations and the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop + Extra Prizes!

Heads up, STAMPlorations friends! There's a fun blog hop starting today for those of us who love or enjoy a cup of coffee! The hop is hosted by Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla.

Here are a couple of cards to inspire you:

PERK UP! One Layer Card

For this card, I dabbed Distress paint (Barn Door) through the ARTplorations Coffee Cup stencil and stamped the sentiment from the Vignette: Eat Drink Be Merry set. For the spatters and frame, I used a dark brown Japanese watercolor brush pen.

LATTE LOVE One Layer Card

This card is the result of my not wanting to waste any of the Distress paint that was on the stencil I used for the first card. I laid the stencil face down onto the card base and brayered over it to transfer the paint. I loved the artsy, painterly result! I sponged some light brown ink through the ARTplorations Latte stencil and stamped the sentiment from the Sentiment Builders: Love set in black ink.
