{Spotlight Project} Deepti Goes CAS with Mixed Media Stamps!

For the TRUE NORTH special stamp release + Comment to Win hop, click here.

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Today I thought of using mixed media stamps to create a fun, simple, and quick CAS card :) Hope you will give this a try!

So, here's a look into the finished card...

STEP 1
I started out by stamping the splatter from the Mixed Media Elements set in the lightest shade of ink. I did the stamping in odd number and stamped along the edges.

STEP 2
I followed the same process for stamping with rest of the inks, covering about 80% of the edge :) Though the picture shows blue, I changed my mind on using the blue :)

STEP 3
Finally I stamped the sentiment from Fond Expressions 2 and dressed my card with a die cut butterfly and some black sequins.

Here's the finished close up :)

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!

  1. I LOVE your card, Deepti! Given I can't water-colour, this set would be perfect to create the 'appearance' of water-colouring! Fabulous!
