CASEplorations August

Can you believe it's August already? Time for a new installment of CASEplorations! You know the routine. We pick a knock-out card from the blogosphere for your and our CASEing pleasure.

This month we have a designer for you who is one of the leading ladies over at Splitcoast Stampers with her beautiful and technique-y cards. You may also know her from the One Layer Simplicity challenge where she's part of the team. And when I tell you that she has the most blue and watercolor-y cards out in the blogosphere (well, by my statistics, that is) you surely know who our guest is this month. Please welcome Karen Dunbrook of Snippets fame!

Please meet her lovely blue creation...

What's not to love? Aren't those blues gorgeous! And notice all the interest in Karen's background. The repeat-stamped sentiment is a great design idea and I love the big spot of white emphasized by the leaf.

Here's Karen's CASE of her own card:

She's kept the rectangular panels, using more white this time. And I love the yellow border.

So now meet the DT 's CASEs - visit their blogs for more details.

Ready to try a CASE yourself. Remember, CASE means "copy and share everything." We take that to mean "notice the various elements of a card and then use some or all of them on a project of your own design."

Which card should you CASE? Well, that's up to you. You can CASE Karen's card. Or any of the DT cards which will appear in the Inspiration Project Posts throughout the month of August. How about picking one of Shery's to CASE in honor of her little baby girl who is expected to arrive in August? All we ask is that you tell us which card you are CASEing in your blog post.

Then link your project to the Inspiration CASE Playground gallery below by September 5th and you might be the lucky random winner who gets to choose either a $15 STAMPlorations gift certificate or two ARTplorations stencils as a prize. Maybe we'll even select your project for a future CASEplorations!
