Hello friends!
Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. As you might have noticed, I have been working on loads of Christmas cards and thought I would continue the same with my spotlight card. It uses masking tape to give a rough edge for a watercolored panel.
So, here's a look at the finished card.
STEP 1
I started by heat embossing the gift boxes with gold embossing powder on watercolor paper. I also colored it with Distress inks using them as watercolors.
STEP 2
On the card base, I wanted to create a watercolored panel. To make that, I tore the masking tape along the inner edge and adhered it as seen in the image below. I then heat embossed the snowflakes in clear embossing powder.
STEP 3
Finally, I watercolored this panel with Distress ink and some twinkling H2O. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and added some dash lines :)
Here's the card up close:
That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!
