{Special Post} STAMPlorations 5th Birthday Hop feat. STAMPgirl Shery Russ #2

Hello again, guys! We are nearly halfway through the month and with our birthday celebration. Have you CASEd any of the STAMPgirls and linked up yet? Unsure about the whole CASEing thing? For our purpose, we loosely take it to mean that you copy something from our projects in order to create your own. It can be the color combination, the layout, a particular element. If your creation is inspired by what you see in any of the posts we publish this month, make sure you link it up in gallery.

So here's my second set of favorites, which I'm aptly calling, "Grungy Butterflies One Layer Cards" :o)

And here's my new card:

Again, I didn't mean to CASE myself but that's what happened when I had to come up with something and I only had a half hour or so before the little ones woke up from their nap! That grungy large butterfly is one of my favorite stamps. For creating one layer cards with that bit (or lots!) of grunge, my go-to stamps are the stamps in Mixed Media Elements and Mixed Media Grunge. I simply stamped the sentiment in the center and then built my background around it, layering the stamps, partially inking and stamping them onto the card base.

Here's a close-up:

Inspired by my messy, grungy stamping? Go ahead and CASE one of my cards...then link it up to our Birthday Linky Party aka CASE the STAMPgirls Challenge. The linky is found at the end of the post HERE. Five lucky players will win a $50 gift certificate to the store -- one of them could be you! :o)

For a chance to win a $25 gift certificate, leave a comment on this post.

For a chance to win up to $25 worth of STAMPlorations products, create and link up your wishlist here.

PS: We have $5 Birthday Bash Surprise Bags -- each bag has at least $20 worth of STAMPlorations goodies inside! Check them out here.
