Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to my Spotlight feature. Today I am making a birthday card by combining different stamp sets and building a scene. I wanted to incorporate cute critters on my card along with few birthday related stamps. So I created a card, let me show you...
Step 1 - I decided to make a mask for the bunny since it was supposed to be in the front of the cake. and a few balloon masks. I also made a cupcake mask which I did not use.
Step 2 - I then stamped the images by masking the bunny and balloons.
Step 3 - I then simply colored these images using Prisma color pencils. To make a festive and colorful card, use primary colors... they work best along with the neutrals.
Step 4 - To add more interest I stenciled in a cloudy sky.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment. Here is a closeup of the card.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet birthday scene of the rabbit and squirrel sharing!! The clouds lifted the scene to a whole other level!! Sweet and colorful and so much whimsy!
