{CRAFTplorations Project} Monika's Christmas Bauble

Happy Friday, STAMPlorations friends! We've got one more awesome project featuring CRAFTplorations products. If you missed the first two, you'll find them here and here.

STAMPgirl Monika is back with a holiday project using the Christmas Bauble #1. If you leave a comment both here an on Monika's blog (where she shares details about her project) by August 8, you could win yourself a Christmas Bauble kit sampler (three 1.5mm MDF Christmas baubles, Christmas Wreaths stencil, and Sketched Christmas Flower & Poinsettia Row digital stamps).

From Monika:

Hello Crafty Friends! There are some new kids on the block over at STAMPlorations: CRAFTplorations MDF Shapes.

Today I'm introducing you to the new Christmas Bauble #1 shapes.  They are perfect for making your own decorations or to use as gift tags. My project today could be used as either:

At approx. 3 inches wide, the baubles are a really good size. I decided to trace the shape on card and cover both sides of the bauble softening the edges with a sanding block. After discovering that the small wreath from Sanna's new Christmas Wreaths stencil fitted the bauble perfectly, I sponged it on both sides of my bauble using Miel Izink ink.

Head on over to Monika's blog for the step-by-step photos. Remember to leave a comment here and on her blog by August 8 for a chance to win a Christmas Bauble kit sampler.

  5. The way you colored the flower is so nice--very traditionally water color looking. I am trying to "perfect" my watercoloring. This is nice inspiration!
