{Spotlight Project} Maria Uses Ephemera ATCs For Quick And Easy Christmas Cards

Hello STAMP friends! Do you make your own Christmas cards to send? If so maybe you're already done making them, but if not I've got a super easy way to create a Christmas card with a fun factor. And to do some recycling ;) Let's get to it.

STEP 1
Gather supplies - Cardstock, Ephemera, Festive stamp, sequins, recycled acetate packaging and I later decided to add some ribbon. We're going to make a full-panel shaker using the ephemera ATC.

STEP 2
Cut your recycled packaging to size to fit your ephemera ATC leaving about 1/2" around the edges. I cut packaging from a small stamp into two pieces.

STEP 3
Adhere strong double sided tape around the edges of the back of your ATC. Lay your ATC face down on the acetate and wrap and stick the acetate on three sides, leaving one side open to add the sequins.

STEP 4
Fill the shaker with sequins then flip it over and seal the last edge. TIP: Use scissors to snip a triangle bit off the acetate flap before you stick it down if you want neater corners.

STEP 5
Decide on your sentiment placement. I placed the shaker (and ribbon) to see where to stamp my sentiment (the inside reads "Christmas") then removed them before picking up the stamps and stamping with my MISTI. I adhered the shaker to my cardbase with foam adhesive for more dimension.

Here's the finished card. Aren't shakers fun? Shake, shake, shake.

I decided to make a few more while I was on a roll. With silver star sequins...

Tiny little pearls...

More sequins and a little ribbon tab up top.

I hope I've given you another idea for quick but fun Christmas cards using your ephemera ATCs. Do you have a favorite? Hope your Christmas preparations are going well. Enjoy this wonderful season. Should you place an order in the shop, I'd love it if you used my STAMPGIRLMARIA code for an additional 20% off at no extra cost to you.
