STAMPgirl Stephanie is back with two beautiful cards that show just how versatile our Touch of Spring Card Fronts can be. Starting with the same paper collection, she created two completely different designs. One features soft stenciling, layered florals, and a hummingbird, while the other embraces a mixed media look with a colorful butterfly and a clean die-cut sentiment. It's a wonderful reminder that a single paper collection can inspire countless creative directions.
Soft Layers & Delicate Details
For her first card, Stephanie added soft texture to the background with the Beautiful Mandala Accent #1 Stencil. She then took one of the Touch of Spring Card Fronts and fussy-cut the image before layering it onto the stenciled background. The sentiment, "welcome the unexpected," from the Bloomdala Bliss stamp set, is the perfect finishing touch for this elegant design.
Bold Butterfly Beauty
Stephanie took a completely different approach with her second card. Once again, she began with a Touch of Spring Card Front, but this time she let the vibrant butterfly artwork become the focal point. To frame the butterfly, she cleverly used snippet circles, proving that leftover die-cut pieces can become beautiful design elements instead of ending up in the scrap bin. The With Sympathy Phrase Die adds a clean, heartfelt sentiment that completes the card without distracting from the striking background.

What I love most about these cards is how different they feel, even though they both begin with the same paper collection. The first card is soft, layered, and botanical. The second is bold, graphic, and contemporary. By changing the supporting products and composition, Stephanie created two completely unique looks using the very same card fronts set.
