{Special Stamp Release!} BIG BLOOM FACTORY by Shery Russ Designs + Mini Release Hop -- Comment to Win!

Hello, STAMPlorations friends! We're back with another special stamp release with a mini hop! We're releasing BIG BLOOM FACTORY, the big sister of the Bloom Factory mini set. It also coordinates with the ARTplorations Big Bloom Factory Large stencil. There are 6 graphic flowers in this set and their design lends a grungy, mixed media look to projects without a lot of work.

For this mini hop, I created two projects: a frame for my little one's photo (taken when she was just 19 days old) and a one layer card (because I'm not one to waste paint). I took my Gelli plate and acrylic paints for a spin to create these projects. Details on how I created these mixed media projects are in this post.

CASEplorations June

Welcome to the June installation of CASEplorations. Did you see the beautiful entries in last month's gallery - WOW! And did you notice we're now coming to you on the 5th? We decided to take some of the load off your reader on the 1st of the month ;) You'll see the new CASEplorations post on the fifth of each month from now on.

But trust me, it was worth waiting. We have the sweetest of cards for you to CASE this month and it's from the sweetest gal. Certainly you know Shelly Kurth of Simply Sweet Greetings! I've always loved Shelly's über-CAS creations. Nowadays you see her all over blogland. She's currently designing for Little Tangles, Waffle Flower and Jillian Vance. Get ready to delight in this card of hers from a year ago, made for a "wedding" challenge.

Beautifully elegant, isn't it? But it wouldn't have to be for a wedding. The elements - pastels, gold, circle, flowers, black handwritten sentiment, bow - could work well for other occasions too.

June Challenge - Theme and Sketch

Hey there, STAMPlorations friends! It's a new month, which means a new theme and sketch challenge here on the blog! Thank you to those who played in last month's theme and sketch challenge. We will announce the May winner and top picks on Monday, June 6, so check back again.

Now onto this month's challenge. We'd love for you to create and link up your projects based on this month's theme, sketch, or both -- you've got the whole month of June to play :o)

For June, our theme is STAMPS & CELEBRATION. So create a project that celebrates anything -- birthday, anniversary, a holiday, or basically anything that you deem is worth celebrating.

Now let's get the June Challenge started! Our CAS Card Challenge is pretty simple: it's straightforward anything CAS goes with the optional color twist. Create a clean and simple card with or without the color we've picked to include. And for June, blue is the optional color twist. (You can use other colors with blue.)
