March Challenges Inspiration - Have You Played Yet?

Hello, challenge fans! Have you already played along with our March challenges? Did you plan to play along, but haven't quite thought of the right design yet? The ladies from the design team are back with more inspiration to help you get inspired - we can't wait to see what you create! We try to keep our rules as simple as possible to make it easy to play along.
If you're new to our blog, please take a moment to become familiar with the challenge guidelines -- we would hate for anyone to be voted by the team as a winner or be randomly chosen as a top pick and then not qualify for the prize because they didn't follow the rules.

Coming soon to the STAMPlorations store: CRAFTplorations
Hey, STAMPlorations friends! We have new products coming to the store soon and they will be under the CRAFTplorations product line. I'm pretty excited about this product line because it further expands our offering...as well as customer base -- we'd be carrying products not only for cardmakers but for scrapbookers, art journalers, mixed media artists, and DIYers too.
Care to guess what type of products will appear under the CRAFTplorations line? Leave a comment by April 8 and one lucky crafter will receive a grab bag containing a selection of these products.

{Spotlight Project} Maria Tried Salad Spinner Art - part 1
Hello there STAMP friends! I've got a Spotlight project for you today and it's a messy one. Have you heard about Spin Art? Have you tried it?
I remember long ago hearing about putting an art canvas with blobs of paint on it in the back of your car and then driving around with it, thereby creating a cool piece of art. Never tried it though. Then a couple months ago an artist I like, Alisa Burke, posted this where she and her kid used a salad spinner to decorate little gift boxes. That stuck in the back of my mind and when I saw a salad spinner at my dollar store I decided to buy it to try out the technique.
Fun. And messy. And unique. There's no way to know what you're going to get. And no way to recreate it exactly if you get something you really like!
Here's a card I made using one of the backgrounds I made in my salad spinner.

{FEBRUARY WINNERS}

An important reminder to challenge players:
- When playing in our challenges, you must display the challenge graphic AND link back directly to the challenge post (NOT to the main blog or the challenge section) via TEXT link in your blog post in order to qualify for the prizes.
- Be mindful of the maximum challenge entries -- the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge has a limit of 6 entries per player; the CAS Cards Challenge has a limit of 3 entries per player; the Stencil Challenge has no entry limit.
An important note about our winners post: winners (challenges, blog hops, and special posts) of the previous month are announced in one post (this one). All winners must claim their prizes by the deadline. If you are a regular player in our challenges or participant in our blog hops and special events, please consider following our blog, even signing up to receive email notifications when new posts are published. You'll find those links on the right side bar.
An important note about our prizes:
- For our challenges, we offer prizes in the form of gift certificates for use in our main store. For our special posts, hops, and events, we offer prizes in the form of gift certificates, gift codes (also called coupon codes and gift vouchers), and products. There is a difference between a gift certificate and a gift code and it's all explained on THIS PAGE (please take the time to read that page).
- Gift certificates and gift codes may not be passed on, given to, or used by another person other than the one it was issued to.
- If you are a winner, you may opt for a gift code to our digital store. Note, though, that if you choose this, the gift code cannot be combined with other codes, as I use a different e-commerce platform for our digital store. (Products in our outlet store are already heavily discounted so no gift codes will be issued for use on that store.)
Winners, please claim your prize on or before Tuesday, March 24. Prizes not claimed by March 24 will be forfeited -- NO EXCEPTIONS. Please understand that because we have a lot of winners and give away $100 to $200 worth of prizes in the form of products, gift certificates, and gift/coupon codes each month, it would take a lot of time to contact the winners individually. I also want to be fair to those who regularly visit our blog and claim their prizes within the time frame given.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLAIMING PRIZE
When claiming your prize, send an email to stamplorations@gmail.com.
I have an email filter set up for claiming prizes so to avoid delay and to make sure I see your email in my BLOG PRIZE folder, follow this format in the subject line:
"STAMPlorations February Winner - specific challenge here"
e.g., "STAMPlorations February Winner - Inspiration Projects"
"STAMPlorations February Winner - Throwback Thursday"
It also helps if you include what prize you won (a $15/10/5 gift certificate, a $15 coupon code, $10 gift code, tangible product, etc.) in the body of your email. Also specify if you prefer to use your prize on our main store or digital store. This way I know which code to generate, as codes generated for one store will NOT work on the other store.
If you are the winner of a tangible/mailable prize, include your complete mailing address in the email you send, even if I already have mailed to you before. (It saves me time having to look up your address.)
