{Inspiration Project Post #358}

Hello, STAMPlorations Friends! Welcome March. Today the Inspiration girls are showcasing a couple of cards featuring stamps, dies and stencils of their choice.

We'll still randomly draw a winner from all the comments left on our Inspiration posts, have a look and leave a comment for your entry to win a $15 prize code to the STAMPlorations store in our monthly prize draw.

{March Stencil Challenge}

 Hello crafters! We are so glad you are joining us for the STAMPlorations March Stencil Challenge. After a little winter break, the Desing Team are back and they are ready to get inky with their stencils. We hope you are too! Do check out the challenge rules and prize info here. If you play along with our challenge, don't forget to check in on the 10th of April to see if you are the winner of the $20 prize code to the STAMPlorations store ($25 if you used a STAMPlorations/ARTploration stencil) or one of two randomly drawn crafters to win a $10 prize code ($15 if you used a STAMPlorations/ARTploration stencil).

We love to see your beautiful projects but to keep it fair and fun for everyone we have a few simple rules which you can also find at the end of this post. In addition to using a stencil on your project, we ask that you link up no more than three (3) projects per challenge. As always, our stencil challenge is anything goes as long as you use a stencil somewhere in your project. Also, remember that your project should be shown in its full glory on your blog post or Instagram, sneak peeks are not eligible to take part. Please don't forget to link back to this blog post via text link, and to include the challenge graphic to be eligible for the prizes (if linking from a blog). And above all, we hope that you have a lot of fun when you get creative with your stencils!

If you play, make sure you include the graphic below in your post and link back (via text link) to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.

{March CAS Challenge}

Hi CAS crafters! Welcome to the spring season of the STAMPlorations CAS challenge. I hope our brief winter break helped you charge your crafty batteries and that you can't wait to share your crafty creations with us. The Design Team certainly have outdone themselves once again, enjoy!

Do check out our updated challenge rules and prize info hereAnd if the fun of playing along isn't enough, we also have great prizes each month. One of the DT members will pick their favourite to win a $20 prize code to the STAMPlorations store ($25 prize code if you used a STAMPlorations product as the main/focal point of your card). Two randomly drawn crafters receive a $10 prize code ($15 prize code if you used a STAMPlorations product as the main/focal point of your card).

We have a few simple rules and we ask that you follow them so that playing along will be fun and fair to everyone. All the rules are summarised at the end of this post. Your challenge is to create a clean and simple (CAS) card with or without the optional color twist which this month is pink and green. You may enter up to 3 CAS cards. {March Theme and Photo Prompt Challenge}

Hello crafters! Welcome to the spring season of our challenges. As usual, we start with the Theme and Photo Prompt Challenge. I hope our little break helped you charge your crafty batteries. As you can see from the Design Team's projects, the ladies are ready to inspire you as we slowly move towards spring (or autumn, depending on where you live). We hope you will join the challenge and share your beautiful art with us.

Do check out our updated challenge rules and prize info here. As always, we have prizes for grabs if you play along - one of the DT members will pick their favourite project to win a $20 prize code ($25 if you used STAMPlorations products as the main/focal point in your entry) to the STAMPlorations store and two randomly drawn crafters will win a $10 prize code ($15 if you used STAMPlorations products as the main/focal point in your entry). The winners will be announced on April 10th, so don't forget to check in on that date if you play along.

Our March theme is Stamps and Shapes. As usual, we also have a photo prompt you can draw inspiration from. You can use the theme, the photo prompt or both to inspire your project. To be eligible for the prizes we ask that you follow a few very simple rules to make it fair and fun for everyone. You can link up a maximum of 3 projects (any kind!), no more, even if using different platforms. Your project is required to involve stamping of some kind (rubber, clear or digi stamps are all permitted). We love to see you use your STAMPlorations supplies, but any crafting supplies are allowed. Also, your project should be displayed in its full glory on your blog/Instagram/other platform, sneak peeks are not eligible for our challenges. Last but not least, don't forget to link to this post (find the link below) and make sure you add the challenge graphic to your post to qualify for prizes (if linking from a blog). All the challenge rules are summarised at the end of the post. And the most important rule is of course to have fun, get messy, inky and creative!

If you play, make sure you include the graphic in your post and link back (via text link) to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.

{New Stamp Line!} Introducing Chris Dring Designs

Here at the STAMPlorations HQ, we're saying, "Bye, February!" with a bang: the addition of a new stamp designer. I'm so stoked to welcome Chris Dring as our latest stamp designer!

Not only is Chris a cardmarker/crafter extra-ordinaire...she also has a super sense of humor that I love! The snarky sentiments she often uses in her cards are what prompted me to ask...could she please come up with a bunch of clean snarky sentiments we could carry in the STAMPlorations store? Chris will be designing stamps (and who knows what else?) under her line, Chris Dring Designs.

Her first two stamp sets are actually here -- well, they'll be available in the store beginning March 21, but they're available to pre-order at a great price + bonus products.

Annd...on Wednesday and Thursday, she and the Inspiration girls will be showcasing her fab stamps!

Most of you know Chris already but hey, I wanted us all to know a little bit more about the woman behind all that sarcasm. So I twisted her arm-- asked her to introduce herself to all of you :o)

"I think I've always had a love of all things crafty since I can remember. From drawing stick figures and making necklaces out of macaroni noodles as a kid to taking art classes throughout middle and high school, my love of art has always been in my heart. After making a living in the real world for a few decades, I rediscovered my love of crafts when I made my first scrapbook to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.

"I had no idea what I was doing. I just bought a bunch of paper, glue, stickers and a scrapbooking magazine. It was the beginning of my love of paper crafting. That led to card making, and I haven't looked back. I love clean and layered cards, especially with a touch (or more) of sarcasm!

"Imagine my surprise when Shery reached out to me one day and asked if I would like to design some snarky stamps. To say my jaw dropped into my lap is a huge understatement, not to mention all the Happy Dancing! After getting myself under control, I of course said YES, and here we are now. Many thanks to Shery for giving me this amazing opportunity! This is truly a dream come true, and I hope that you enjoy these stamps!"

And just to whet your appetite...here are cards she made with her stamps!

So...whaddaya think about our latest stamp designer recruit? And again, check back on Wednesday when we showcase her first stamp set!

See ya!

{Spotlight Project} Maria Has Die-cutting Fun With Scrap Strips

Well friends, I have a luxury problem. I get to move my crafting from my basement laundry room to DD's old bedroom. Woohoo! Daylight! But let me tell you, I am totally overwhelmed. How to make it perfect? And boy do I need to purge.

So when I find myself unable to deal with the ginormity (is that a word?) of it all, I submerge myself in little projects. One of which was tackling my bucket of scrap strips. You know the ones you cut off the bottom of a card or a background you made or a piece of PP. I had a blast just adhering those strips to a piece of scrap paper then decided to do some fun die cutting with them. Speaking of fun, have you ever listened to Carissa W. podcast? She's full of cardmaking tips and reminds us to have fun in the craft room too ;) Let's get to my card, shall we?
