Hi,
Cornelia here today, making a simple card with black cardstock. I like black cardstock because it makes colors pop, but coloring it is somewhat difficult. Some embossing powders work well, too. But I found some really cheap markers (I'll link at the bottom) and I wanted to see if they would work. They do!
I stamped one of the images four times with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.
And then I started coloring in purple...
...and in pink.
Added white dots.
Cut the black panel to size with a stitched die (SSS).
Heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum.
And those are
those markers. And no, I have no connection to them, just found them and could not resist :) They are chalk markers, so you can achieve chalkboard effect with them, just smear them a bit. If you don't want that, spray your card with some kind of sealer or hairspray.
I do love especially the white marker - it covers black amazingly well. Now, if you want to color, but don't have those markers you can just do pencils on Kraft and that looks fantastic, too!
