{Spotlight Project} Create Stamped Skies with Deepti

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Today I am sharing a fun and quick way to create sky. I made a card set to showcase different colors of the sky. So, here's a look at the finished card set.

Step 1 - I started out by cutting a window into the card panel through which we will see the sky.

Step 2 - Next I marked a guideline on my cardbase using the window panel to stamp the sky. I then stamped the card base with different shades of ink using a brush stroke stamp from the Mixed Media Elements set.

Here's how the three skies would look:

Step 3 - In order to add more interest I stamped, fussy cut, and colored the bird house from Country Rustic and assembled my card using foam dots. I also stamped the birds on the sky and sentiment from New Beginning and Fond Expressions, respectively, prior to adhering it all together.

Here's the finished look of each card :)

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try.  Happy paper crafting!
