{Mixed Media Tutorial} Melissa Makes a Festive "Fourth" Inspired Calendar

Hi! I'm here to share another mixed media calendar with you today. I hope you enjoy seeing the process I used to create it.
Here's the mini calendar page that I made.

I used the following ARTplorations and STAMPlorations products:

1. I started by stamping the large butterfly from Trendy Butterflies 2.

 2. I inked up (embossing ink) and stamped with the backs of the butterfly stamps and then heated embossed with clear embossing powder over the initial images.

3. I stamped with the Happy Sunflower in blue ink over the red, heat embossed, butterflies.

4. I added more color, texture and details using Super Bubbles

5. I created another, smaller panel using Super Bubbles and Stars Align.

 6. To finish, I cropped the panel, added a little calendar and attached both to the larger panel which I had framed in heavy, blue cardstock. I designed the little calendar as a word document and printed it onto white cardstock. It measures about 4" x 2 1/4" or 4 cm x 5.75 cm.

That's all I have for today. I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and look forward to reading your comments.
Thanks for stopping by!

Grace & Peace,

P.S. Here’s a coupon code for you. There’s no expiration, as long as I’m a STAMPlorations Girl, this code will be valid.
