{Special Post} New Free Coffee-Themed Digital Stamp

Howdy, fellow stampers! If you've been following our blog for a while now, you know we host 5 monthly challenges. Then there's the 6th: the Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge, where you can link up your projects that make use of STAMPlorations products -- whether they're dies, stencils, coloring pages, clear stamps, and even digital images.

And speaking of digital images, we have a brand new one for you: Rose Blooms and Coffee -- it's fresh off my hard drive, as I finished illustrating it less than 24 hours ago ;-) Go ahead...download it, print it out, use it in your projects, and make sure you link up in the gallery for a chance to win spending money on the STAMPlorations store!

(You can download the digi stamp from this page)

Monika and I took it for a drive and paired it with some STAMPlorations clear stamps. Have a look:

{Sentiment used: Sketched - Birthday Cake}
Visit Monika's blog to read more about how she made this card.

I did a little foiling with this card, using metallic gold foil that gives off a pretty rainbow shine when light hits it.

{Stamps: Beautiful Friends (sentiment); Mixed Media Elements (background script)}
I loosely watercolored the image with Inktense pencils and randomly stamped the background script for interest.

For this card, I resorted to my go-to quick way to color any image. I call this technique the Lazy Colorist's technique...or perhaps I should call it Shery's Lazy Way to Color ;-). I used splatter and inkblot stamps to color the blooms. It gives a grungy artsy feel.

We hope you enjoyed a bit of coffee inspiration. Don't forget we have a coffee stamps blowout sale and it ends on Monday! All coffee stamps are 40% off with the code COFFEEBLOWOUT.

    1. Yours is gorgeous in pink! Did you know that I made the cards while Kat and Winter are having a snack earlier today? Had to work fast but those two love their food too much they tend to ignore me when they have bowls of food in front of them - lol. Don't have much time to spend on coloring images so using the splatter stamps for coloring has become my favorite way to add color to images.
