{Spotlight Project} Monika Goes Masculine With Masking And Inlaid Die-Cutting

Hello Crafty Friends! You know how I like making monochromatic cards. Today I'm combining this passion with masking and inlaid die-cutting for a masculine birthday card using two recent stamp club sets, the current Hello You and December's Scribbly Splattery Grunge.

March CUTplorations - Reminder

Hello Crafty Friends!

We're half way through March, and Spring is starting to gain a foothold in most of the northern hemisphere. Thinking about warm sunny days and garden parties ahead, we're just having a fitting Inspiration Photo for this month's CUTplorations Challenge.

Have you joined us, yet? If not, here is a quick reminder of our photo:

We also have a little more inspiration for you. Shirley created a fresh and feminine birthday card. and I made two cards, one of which uses the new floral themed CUTplorations Dies. Shery only just added them to the shop. I am sure, you'll love them and their intricate designs.

Check out the March challenge post here for more die-cutting inspiration and, of course, to link up your die-cutting makes. I'm looking forward to seeing your creations!

Have a lovely day!
hugs

{FEBRUARY WINNERS}

We've got FEBRUARY winners and top picks to announce -- and there are plenty of them! Winners of the Love TAGplorations blog hop & linky party + CUTplorations mini release hop are also in this post.

An important note about our winners post: all winners (challenges and blog hops) of the previous month are announced in one post (this one) published on the 9th or 10th of the following month. All winners have up to 10 days to claim their prizes. If you are a regular player in our challenges or participant in our blog hops and special events, please consider following our blog, even signing up to receive email notifications when new posts are published. You'll find those links on the right side bar.

Winners, please claim your prize on or before Monday, March 20. Prizes not claimed by March 20 will be forfeited -- no exceptions. Please understand that because we have a lot of winners and give away over $200 worth of prizes in the form of products and gift certificates each month, it would take a lot of time to contact the winners individually (which would involve searching for email addresses). I also want to be fair to those who claim their prizes within the time frame given.

When claiming your prize, send an email to sheryruss@gmail.com. Please follow this format in the subject line:
"STAMPlorations February (Winner, Top Pick, Random Draw) - specific challenge here"
e.g., "STAMPlorations February Winner - CAS Card Challenge"

Or if a blog hop winner:
"Winner - name of the blog hop here"
e.g., "Winner - Love TAGplorations"

{Spotlight Project} Shirley Gets Snap-Happy With The Camera

I've been playing with the camera image from the February 2017 stamp club set, Hello You. I decided to repeat-stamp two panels, and then apply different colouring methods to each.

{Spotlight Project} Becca Creates Simple Shading with Watercolors

Hello! It's Becca here and today I'm going to show you how to create simple shading with watercolors.

This card also helps me honor tomorrow, which is International Women's Day. So this is for all the strong, confident, bold sistahs out there who have helped me along my journey.

This is where I get to take the time to pay homage to the creator of STAMPlorations, Shery Russ. If you want to talk about a woman who lends her strength to others and has created all sorts of opportunities, it's Shery. I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to my STAMPteamies! The constant inspiration you provide is magical for me. You keep me creating. Last, but not least, I want to give a shoutout to all the STAMPlorations blog readers. You all have NO idea how much your kind comments mean and I am constantly wowed by the cards you link up in our gallery.

Speaking of strong, confident women, let's all give it up for the fabulous Shirley Bampton who designed the CityGirl stamp I used as the focal point of my card.
