{Spotlight Project} Deepti Creates a Stamped Border Edge

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. Today I am showcasing how to create a lovely stamped edge border on your cards.

Here's a look at the finished card:

STEP 1
I started out by marking a light curvy pencil line along the edge of the panel; this will serve as a guideline as to where I will stamp. I then stamped the flowers along the edge by doing some masking.

STEP 2
Then I stamped the leaves around the flowers, again by masking the flower. I did two-tone stamping to add interest.

STEP 3
I colored the flowers using my Spectrum Noir markers and also added some details on the leaves with my color pencil

STEP 4
I then cut along the edge of the flowers.

STEP 5
I adhered patterned paper on the card base and popped this panel with some foam adhesive. In the end I also added another stamped, fussy cut flower to add interest.

Here's the finished card once again :)

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!
