{Special Post} STAMPlorations at Less Is More Again + Stenciling with a Bloomtangled Cover Plate!

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! I'm popping by to share a couple of cards I made featuring one of the Bloomtangled cover plate dies for the current challenge over at Less Is More, where STAMPlorations is the sponsor for the month of March! For the next couple of weeks, it's a one layer challenge using STENCILS!

I used the Bloomtangled cover plate #2 as a stencil to create my one layer cards. Oh yeah, and they were pretty quick to make as well -- got them done in less than 30 minutes...while the hubby took my little ones out for a stroll outside ;-)

Here are the cards up close.

Stamp: Amazing Grace (Typografia IN FAITH)

Stamps: Ultimate Sophistication (Say It Big); Mixed Media Grunge

And I made a third card, this time using a real stencil ;-)

Stencil: Bloom Boldly
Stamps: All Your Heart (Say It Big); Mixed Media Grunge

I hope my cards have inspired you to use your dies as a stencil. And if you haven't yet seen how the STAMPlorations girls rocked the Bloomtangled cover plate dies, check out this post. Then head on over to this post to see faith-based projects featuring the new stamps in the Typografia IN FAITH line.

Thank you again to Sarah and the LIM design team for having me and STAMPlorations this month! Please head on over to the challenge blog to play :o)

  1. So delighted to have you as Guest Designer in our March challenges, Shery ! Your trio of cards is absolutely beautiful and your choice of colours is so joyful ! I was so focused on using stencils that I totally forgot that we can do stencils with dies. This cover plate is gorgeous and you made two stunning cards with it, but the card made with the real stencil has nothing to envy, it is as beautiful as the others. Thanks so much for being our generous sponsor this month ! xx

  2. So beautiful. I struggle with making single layer cards. They never look complete to me but these are stunning and just lovely.

  7. What a wonderful trio of cards Shery! They are all 'right up my street' as I adore bold colours - I especially like the combo on your first card. Brilliant reminder that cover plates and dies are great ways to mke your own DIY stencils too. Thanks for being a fantastic guest designer again xx
