{Mixed Media Tutorial} Art Journal Page by Susanne

Hi there! Susanne here and I'd like to share an art journal page today. I have a step by step tutorial for you.

I've started with a left over paint background by stenciling some white stars:

I use a palette knife to apply some gesso here and there.

I wanted to add more colour, so I used the Neocolor II crayons, scribbled them onto the page and blended them with water and my fingers.

For more interest on the background I've added some text stamping and spattered some white acrylic ink onto it.

I stamped the Trendy Spring Blooms onto a piece of left over "Oxide Inks on Encaustic" paper. To finish the page up I cut the word Incredible from glitter cardstock and adhered it to my page.
