Here's a more detailed look at Jane's and Tanja's projects:
JANE'S THINGS WITH WINGS
Hello and welcome to a STAMPlorations special of which I will be a part of for the coming year. For the October special I decided to make one project using some autumnal images and as most people are now getting into full swing Christmas card making I thought the other project should be Christmas related.
So here is my autumnal things with wings card.
I got inky using the awesome Autumn Falling stencil, my favourite Trendy Birds 2 stamp set, a sentiment from the brilliant Wanderlust Expressions 1, and the lovely perched birds from the For the Birds die set.
Here is a close up:
My Christmas things with wings make is this one:
I used the fab Holly Background stencil for the glitter hill background with the delightful Christmas angel die, the Stitched Winter Landscape die (which is one of my favourite dies), and a couple of sentiments from the lovely Homespun Christmas stamp set.
Here is a little close up of my card:
You may also notice the gorgeous flat sequins I have used. These are the ShakerBlends made for shaker cards but I love them just as flat sequins stuck onto my cards. There are lots of colours and I used the sparkly green and mocha swirl mixes. Do check them out they are only $4 a bag too!
If you would like to see my step by step of how I made my cards do check out my own blog, Jane's Journal here. I would love to see you stop by.

TANJA'S THINGS WITH WINGS
Hi there, it's Tanja. This is my first Things with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations and I created these two tags for you:
- cut out one of the Manila Tags dies from watercolor paper
- apply Glitter Paint through the Lattice stencil
- while this is drying stamp three butterflies and the beautiful rose from the Brave One set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink
- color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Marker and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
- spray the tag with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Tinsel spray
- dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink Dusty Concord and thread it through the hole of the tag
*****
- cut out a Manila Tag from watercolor paper
- stamp the large cupcake from the Happy Everything set
- stamp the butterfly from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Platinum embossing powder
- color the image and the background with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
- add Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss White to the sprinkles
- the sentiment is from the Hey Sunshine clear stickers
- dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink Spun Sugar and thread it through the hole of the tag
