{Stencil Sunday} Helen Creates Fun Gelli Printed Backgrounds with Stencils
Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We are back with a new helping of Stencil Sunday goodness! You'll get to see projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.
STAMPgirl Helen used our stencils to create a few fun backgrounds for her projects.
Here's Helen with her projects:
Hello everyone... My most favorite ways of using stencils is with the Gelli Printing Plate. Here's my first project for today:
On this CAS card background, I used the Make Marks 1 stencil. I added the light blue acrylic paint on the cardstock with make up sponge lightly. After the paint dried, I cut it with the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangles Nesting Dies and I added it on a white card base with EZ Runner Gran.
I used the Make Marks 4 stencil and pulled couple monoprints using Gelli Printing Plate and acrylic paints. After that, I cut it out with Stitched Tags Nesting Dies. I added one of the Coffee Heaven Clear Stickers on it. I added some crinkle ribbon on it and added it on the card with 3D foam adhesive.
I sprayed some Cocoa Marabu Art Spray on a heavyweight white cardstock, cut out the cup from Tag O'Coffee Dies, and added on the card with 3D foam tape.
*****
This second project is a set of 3 Artist Trading Cards. Making these ATC cards are simple and quick with Make Marks stencils, Coffee Heaven clear stickers, ATC Tag Builder Dies, acrylic paints, gelatos, gelli printing plate, and make up sponge.
On this first ATC background, I used the Make Marks 2 stencil and Make Marks 6 stencil.
On this second ATC background, I used the Make Marks 4 stencil and Make Marks 5 stencil.
And on this third ATC background, I used the Make Marks 1 stencil and Make Marks 3 stencil.
***
Awesome backgrounds using our stencils, right? For a chance to win a $15 gift code to the STAMPlorations store, leave a comment here and on Helen's blog by December 8. We'll announce the winner in the November winners post on December 10.
Did you enjoy today's featured post? Helen will be back in two weeks for two more awesome projects so check back here then :o)
