Today we have guest designer Deepti Aggarwal sharing 3 stunning stenciled rainbow cards -- guaranteed to make you smile and hopefully get you crafting as well!
Happy Sunday, everyone!! Deepti here and I am excited to be back with another post showcasing ARTplorations stencils for Stencil Sunday. For today's post, I have created three rainbow cards and the twist is... using three different coloring mediums and three different techniques. Over to my cards..
To start with, I die cut out three panels of white card stock using Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.
Card 1
For my first card, I've used Art Splatters stencil and did simple ink blending using rainbow colored distress inks.
Once satisfied, I added the die cut sentiment using Beautiful Word Die and You & Me Phrase Die to complete it.
Card 2
I've used heat emboss resist technique to make this card. I took Faces: Grace stencil and applied VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using black embossing powder.
Then, I colored it using rainbow colored gelatos and kept the background subtle to highlight the image. Adhered it to matching note card and stamped the sentiment from Fond Expressions 2 stamp set to complete it.
Card 3
For this card, I first water colored the background with rainbow colors and then applied black gesso on top of Shower of Flutters stencil.
Once dried, I added the stamped sentiment from Trendy Feathers 2 on white strips and adhered the same on card stock. I went bit overboard with this card ;) and jazz it up with silver sequins to complete it.
I hope you like these colorful rainbow cards. My favorite is the butterfly one...Please do let me know in comments which one you like the most :). Check my blog here for more details.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Hugsxx
