{Spotlight Project} CAS Cards With Deepti

Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to my Spotlight feature. For this Spotlight post I decided to make a couple of clean and simple cards. Unique thing about these is that I have used a stamp for a purpose different from what it is intended. Let me show you...

Step 1 - I cut out two A2 panels from white card stock. I started out by stamping the solid image which actually is a snowman body but I used it as an organic shape.

Step 2 - I then stamped the silhouette floral images on these stamped solids by masking the lower edge.

Step 3 - For my second card, I stamped the solid shape on diagonally opposite corners. I then stamped the floral silhouette.

Finally I stamped the sentiment to complete my CAS cards. The Distress inks are deeper in color when you stamp but they dry lighter :)

Here is a closeup into my cards...

I have used Layered Snowman and Beautiful You

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try.

Happy paper crafting!

  1. Very pretty cards, Deepti. I don't have Layered Snowmen (yet!) but I do have 'Beautiful You' and always love to see inspiration with sets I have.

  2. These are very pretty. I like how simple they are...the muted colors look wonderful.

  3. Very pretty and creative using he snowman body.

  4. What beautiful cards Deepti - so effective and great use of the snowman's body
    Stay safe

  5. Fun use of the snowman body stamp and what beautiful CAS cards x.

  6. Oh wow -- I love the unique way you used that snowman stamp set! These cards are so beautiful!

  7. How clever to use the "snowballs" as a color background for these silhouettes. The results are so lovely. tfs-stay well.

  8. These are some pretty cards and such a neat way to use those layered stamps

  9. I like the idea for use of the snowman set for the circles. Great color use.
