{Spotlight Project} Deepti Makes A Die-cut Only Card

Hello friends! Deepti here and today I made a birthday card with die cuts only. Only thing that I stamped on this card was the sentiment. I combined a cover plate die and balloon die to make my card. Let me show you...

I have shown a step by step photo tutorial to showcase the process of making this ...

Step 1 - I took a white panel and die cut it using the cover plate.

Step 2 - I took another white panel and die cut a few balloons, one being the focal and rest along the edges. I also drew the strings using s ruler and a pen.

Step 3 - I then die cut a white stitched frame and adhered all these together using glue.

Step 4 - Next I picked up a patterned paper. This paper already had a striped pattern, I cut some of it added some other stripes where needed and added that on card base.

Then I added foam adhesive on the back of front panel and adhered it. To finish I stamped the sentiment.
Here is a close up into my card...

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!

  1. Deepti, this card is delightful. What a great idea to layer those die cuts...the balloons are so unique! tfs-stay well.

  2. What a fun way to create a card with just the dies and love how you layered them up.

  3. Wow, such a clever design with fabulous results!!!!!

  4. Love the way these die cuts are layered to make the fancy balloons! Very clever!

  5. This card is so beautiful! and it gives a chance to use different washi tapes or scraps, so it's just great! Thanks!

  6. I like the idea on how to use the cover to make the balloon designs. Great share.

We love hearing from fellow crafters. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us :o)
