{Trifecta Cardmaking} Sue Has Fun with Stamps, Stencils, and Stickers!

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! We have a brand new feature that's sure to inspire you all some more. Specifically, you'll see just how the three S's in our line -- stamps, stencils, and stickers -- play well in cardmaking. For the next 3 months, returning guest designer Sue Symens will wow you with her creative cards!

Make sure you comment on this post for a chance at a $15 prize code. Every month, we draw 7 winners, with the winners randomly drawn from all posts published during the month. The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have.

And here's a nice bonus: we bundled up some products that Sue used in one of her cards. The products she used in her first card are available in the Sweet Kindness Kit - 4 products for just $18.99 + free US shipping.

On my first card I was going for a mixed media feel by ink blending a background, then using the Rows of Hearts stencil I brushed platinum acrylic paint over a portion of the stencil. After it was dry I used the Sweet Kindness set to stamp the floral image in permanent black ink. I created a bit of splatter with black pearl watercolor and added a few black Nuvo drops. Using the Mixed Media Backgrounds clear stickers I die cut 3 hearts and overlapped them on the card front. Placing another one on my white card base to ground the panel. Then I added foam tape to the panel to mount it to the card base. The greeting from the same stamp set was stamped in black ink and a clear Bits of Washi sticker was added to accent it. A few black staples to finish it off.

The second card uses the Christmas Trees mini stencil to create the multi colored dots. Then I stamped the Sweet Kindness stamp over the dots in black ink. On a scrap of white I stamped a peach cupcake and added clear sticker over it from the Happy Happy set. I die cut 3 plum circles and attached them to the greeting adding foam tape to the back to mount it to the card front. Then finished it off with a few black Nuvo drops.

The final card uses the same Sweet Kindness stamp set to stamp the black coffee images on a white heart die cut. I ink blended a panel then laid the Rows of Hearts stencil over it and sprayed the panel with shimmer spritz. Also used the stencil to ink blend hearts on the top folding, white note card. Using a scrap of white cardstock that had pink ink blended on it, I added the greeting from the Just Caffeinate clear stickers set. I placed all the pieces on the card front with foam tape and added a few enamel dots to accent the images.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will try your own Trifecta Cardmaking with STAMPlorations stamps, stencils, and stickers!
