{Trifecta Cardmaking} Sanna Creates Colorful Mixed Media Cards

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We are back with another Trifecta Cardmaking post, a fun feature wherein you'll see how the three S's in our line -- stampsstencils, and stickers -- play well in cardmaking. In this month's post, STAMPgirl Sanna Lippert didn't throw away her working surfaces...and instead used them to create stunning cards!

Here's Sanna with her projects:

Hello everyone, it´s Sanna here again with another set of Trifecta cards for March!! Usually, when I work on any type of project, I keep a big piece of white paper under my working area, where I can wipe residue pastes, inks and paints/sprays onto. These working surfaces tend to get quite colorful during time, so I pile them over each other until they are ready to be tossed. However, this time I didn´t throw away the paper, but instead cut the most colorful parts off with scissors and used them as my starting point for this month's cards. If you are afraid of a white blank page, this might help you get started on your next project?! Just keep on adding onto the layers with stencils, stamps and stickers and see what you end up with! I think that these cards look quite good, considering, how they got started!

For this card I used the following STAMPlorations products:  Make Marks 2 stencilMixed Media Backgrounds 2 clear stickersHey Sunshine clear stickers, Mixed Media Grunge stamps.

For today´s post I have again recorded a start to finish video, so you get a better picture of all the steps I did. Here it is - have fun watching!

I hope I could inspire you to give this fun idea a try! And remember, the starting point does not have to be perfect, just start with whatever you have. Even the strangest color combination will work, just depends on what you add to it!! And have fun. Add a fun image to the card (I put the paper dolls a red nose to make them look a little more silly even). Just have fun with the idea!

Also, don´t miss out on this 20% off offer with my code: STAMPGIRLSANNA!

I´ll be back with another Trifecta card set again next month! Hope to see you then again!

Until then, take care!
xxx, Sanna
