For these two cards, she cut a sheet of Botanical Beats Collage Paper in half and paired each piece with coordinating elements from Flowers & Coffee Focal Fronts.

A Beautiful Starting Point for an Encouragement Card

For her first card, Stephanie went with a vertical orientation and let the rich greens and soft pastel colors do much of the work. She started with half of a sheet of Botanical Beats, then found a focal fronts element that coordinated beautifully with it. The floral coffee cup brings together the pinks, corals, and greens in the collage paper, creating a cohesive color palette without needing to build the background herself.

She added a rose-colored paper mat and attached the collage paper to a kraft card base. The coffee-and-flowers element was attached with foam tape, giving it dimension against the patterned background.
