{Spotlight Project} Monika Combines Bloomful With Feathery

Hello STAMPlorations Friends! For today's project I wanted to create a subtle background using the largest stamp from the Bloomful set and pair it with a feather and sentiment from Feathery. Here is my finished make:

The original thought was to stamp the semi circle stamp using white craft ink on pale pink card which created a nice subtle pattern. Sadly it didn't show up in the photo.

Anyway I wanted it to be more visible and thought I'd try a technique which previously I only ever had used with glossy card and Versamark.

I got out my brayer, started to add some ink from the bottom up and spritzed with water. As you can see, it created a subtle pattern which increases in intensity depending on how it catches the light.

Once dry, I die-cut the feather aperture.

Next I added a piece of white card to the inside and stamped my feather and sentiment in black Versafine.

To finish, I added some doodles and sparkly dots.

Just in case you wondered what happened to the die-cut feather. Well, I simply made another card.

I took some inspiration from a previous Spotlight Post of mine when it came to adding dimension and movement to my feather.

That's it from me for today. If you feel like combining two of our Stamp Club sets or making a project using any of the techniques or ideas shared by my teamies in their Spotlight Posts, make sure to link up your makes with our spotlight project gallery here.

Have a lovely day!
