January Theme and Photo Prompt Challenge

Happy New Year dear crafters! What wonderful things will 2020 have in store for us? We can't wait to discover that together with you. We are so happy that you are here with us to see our first challenge of 2020. We hope this will be a fun and crafty year for you and we'll be with you every step of the way, providing lots of inspiration. But we need your help - we love seeing your creative projects and we love to see how you use your STAMPlorations stash. Don't forget to check in on the 10th to see if you are one of the winners as we have prizes both for design team favourites and randomly drawn prizes too.

Our theme this month is Stamps and Splatters. You can use the theme, the photo prompt or both to inspire your project. Remember, you can link up a maximum of 6 projects (any kind!), no more. Your project should also involve stamping of some kind (rubber, clear or digi stamps are all permitted). We love to see you use your STAMPlorations supplies, but any crafting supplies are allowed. Don't forget to link to this post (find the link below) and make sure you add the challenge graphic to your post to qualify for prizes.

If you play, make sure you include the graphic in your post and link back to this challenge post in order to qualify for our prizes :o) Please also read our simple rules, which you'll find toward the end of this post.

Inspired by the theme or photo? Please just keep in mind these simple rules:
  • Link up any type of project(s) based on the theme, the photo, or both.
  • You must use stamps in your project(s) -- rubber, clear, or digi from any company. Non-STAMPlorations stamps are OK.
  • Link up to 6 entries and link up to as many other challenges as you want.
  • You must display the challenge graphic in your post (if linking from your blog) and link back to the challenge post (not just the main blog) in order to be eligible to win (and receive the corresponding prize).
  • Link up by January 31, 11:55 p.m. Pacific time.

  • The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate.
  • The runner up will receive a $10 gift certificate
  • Three (3) randomly drawn crafters will each receive a $5 gift certificate.

January 2020 Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge

Heads up! If you used at least one STAMPlorations product (digi or clear stamp, stencil, die, clear stickers, sequins, or a page from any of our coloring books), make sure to link it up to our Never-ending Anything Goes Challenge too for a chance to win more STAMPlorations products! We draw two winners every month. You may also want to check out our other challenges. You can find links to all our challenges at the top of the page for more inspiration and more opportunities to win prizes.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

All players, please read:
Before you add your project to the link-up, make sure that you are already linking up to this challenge and the challenge graphic is displayed on your blog post. Otherwise, your entry may be deleted and/or not qualify for the prizes. Also, please link up a maximum of 6 entries -- whether you are linking from your blog or your Instagram account. The maximum entry is 6 per player, so linking up 4 of your projects from your blog and 3 projects from your Instagram account will disqualify you from the voting and prizes.

  1. LOVE the photo and cards shared to INSPIRE!
... bit nervous about letting go of the TIGHT grip I have on my ruler to try my hand at splatters, looking forward to giving it a try :)

  2. Yay....I got to use my new Three Kings set I just won! LOVE!!! What lovely inspiration from the team. I adore Craftyfield's dark background and fabulous coloring on her lily card. Thank you for this fun challenge!

  3. I used to make embellished clothing back in the '90's and got my trusty toothbrush out to splatter on my card. It was fun. Thanks!

Spammers have been in full force lately so I had to turn comment moderation on. We love hearing from fellow crafters (not spammers), so your comment will be approved as soon as possible. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us :o)
