{Sticker Monday} Deepti Creates a Fab Trio of Encouragement Cards

Happy Monday, STAMPlorations friends! How are you all doing? We're back with Sticker Monday. Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, the STAMPgirls will be sharing projects showcasing our line of fun clear stickers. And every month, we'll draw one lucky crafter to win a $15 gift code -- randomly drawn from all comments left on the Sticker Monday posts for the month, as well as from the featured designer's blog.

Today, STAMPgirl Deepti is sharing a trio of awesome encouragement cards featuring our clear stickers.

Hello friends! I am back with Sticker Monday feature and continuing my obsession with kraft card stock. Today I am sharing cards I made using the New Day clear stickers for a trio of encouragement cards :)

Let me show you the cards I made... For these cards, I wanted to work with pink, blue and white color scheme on kraft card stock and use and outline image along with a solid stamp image.

For all my cards, I followed the rules of visual imagery... creating a visual triangle, keeping things in odd numbers, going off the edge. For the sentiments, I used stickers. I simply decided on a combination of sentiments for each card and adhered them on white card stock. I then cut them into sentiment strips to adhere them on my stamped backgrounds.

Here is my first card...

Here is my second card...

I recently grabbed quite a few Distress oxide inks and they work great for solid stamping. If you don't have these, you can always work with pigment ink. I you don't have both I would say using white card stock instead of kraft is a better choice for dye inks. I also added interest by using some mixed media stamps.

Here is my third card...

As you can see that I adhered the sentiment stickers in unique style. Having sentiment stickers makes it easier :) Also, you can see the washi tape like addition along the edges. That's also a sticker...Artsy Geometric Backgrounds :) Even though it's a background sticker, I cut it out to suit to my design needs :)

I hope you like the cards I created and that I inspired you to try stickers on your projects.

Besides the Artsy Geometric Backgrounds and New Day stickers, I have used the following: Trendy Birds 2, Trendy Butterflies, Mixed Media Grunge, Bloom Sketches (retired, but available as digital stamps here).

Thank you soooooo much for all your lovely comments. Love reading them!
